A group raising funds for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme and St Luke’s Hospice will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge tomorrow, Saturday 20 May.
Over 25 people will be attempting the 24-mile trek in under 12 hours!
The walkers have been training for weeks ahead of the challenge and tomorrow they will finally face the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Both the SWFCCP and St Luke’s would like to thank everyone who has donated to the cause so far.
Ex-Wednesday striker John Pearson, who will be taking on the challenge, said: “After weeks of hard work the big day has finally come around.
“Everybody taking part is very excited and it will no doubt be a great day.
“Thank you to everybody who has been supporting us, and please do continue to do so as the money raised will be helping two brilliant local charities.”
