Alex Lopez has been voted as the swfc.co.uk April Player of the Month.
Supporters have been voting since Bank Holiday Monday and Lopez has come out on top with an impressive 39%.
In second place was midfielder Barry Bannan (13%), followed by Fernando Forestieri in third (10%).
The Spaniard – on a season-long loan from Celta Vigo featured in all seven of Wednesday’s April fixtures.
His performances in the engine room have attracted plaudits over recent weeks and head coach Carlos Carvalhal said: “Alex is a good, experienced player.
“He had a lot of experience in the Spanish first league. I know him very well because Vigo is 45 minutes from my city so I saw a lot of games from Celta Vigo and especially from Alex.
“We are happy to be with the player here.”
